POLYNOMIALS : Factors and Zeroes of Polynomials

Example 1

A polynomial P  is  given as  P(x) = x^3- 2x^2 -5x + 6.  

(a) Show that  x = 1, x=-2 and x=3 are zeroes of P(x)
(b) Express P(x) as the product of linear factors;
