(a) a white marble is chosen if a marble is picked randomly from the box.

(b) two marbles of the same color were chosen if two marbles are picked one by one without replacing.

Solve the following linear equation.

1. x+3=0.

2. x-5=0.

3. 2x = 8.

4. 2x -5 = 1.

5. 3x+1= 7.

6. (x+1)/2 = 3.

7. (1/2)(2x-1)=3

8. 2p-4=6

9. 0.5h = 5

10. 3h=12
